The Administrative Assistant - Insurance Verification Coordinator is a dual position that communicates directly with individuals and couples who are interested in learning about the assisted reproductive technologies at Fertility Solutions and verifying patient insurance coverage. Responsibilities include: welcoming patients in a professional and warm manner, handling patient calls and web inquiries timely and with courtesy, accurately and completely updating patient information in EMR, provides clear and concise information to patients in ways that are easily understood and processed by non-medical professionals, coordinates insurance verification process and functions as a resource for patients around managed care plans, insurance and referral issues. Other job responsibilities include phone coverage support and functions as a member of a collaborative team to better serve all internal and external customers. Other duties as assigned.
* High School graduation required, Associates Degree preferred
* Minimum of 3 years experience in insurance verification
* EMR proficient
* Minimum of 3 years phone coverage experience
