This position is located within the Charleston county Continuum of Care (COC) Office of the Department of Administration. Under general supervision, the incumbent provides executive and administrative support of the Wraparound care management model. Processes contracts, office bills, and requisitions according to COC policies. Manages client service notes and maintains office filing system. Maintains personnel information for the region. Monitors the overall maintenance for vehicles, and also monitors and processes vehicle logs. Coordinates and maintains the phone, communications, and mail systems. Performs other duties as required.
Minimum and Additional Requirements
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: A high school diploma, or higher. Related clerical experience may be substituted for a high school diploma.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Strong word processing, spreadsheet, database, and other computer application skills. Strong oral and written communication skills, including excellent grammar and an ability to collect, compile, and assemble information in a clear, concise manner. Must have a valid South Carolina driver's license. Incumbent may be required to report to work during emergency or hazardous weather situations. Certification of a negative TB test is required prior to employment. Applicants indicating college credit or degree(s) on the application will be required to bring a copy of college transcript to the interview. A copy of the transcript may also be uploaded as an attachment to the application, if required by the hiring department or if desired by the applicant. Please note that some areas of the Department may require an official, certified copy of the transcript prior to hiring or within a specific timeframe required by that area, after hiring. A bachelor's degree and one year of responsible clerical and administrative experience; or an associate's degree in secretarial science or other related field with two years of responsible clerical and administrative experience. Knowledge of the children's services delivery system in South Carolina.
