IHG Americas’ Regional Corporate Office is centrally

Procurement and Cost Efficiency is a dynamic team with

The purpose of this role is to collaborate with
the brand team to design an end-to-end supply chain strategy to meet the
brand’s objectives. This role will lead supply chain commercialization of
brand programs and platforms – driving competitive advantage for
owners and IHG. As such the Brand Supply Chain Director is the single point of
accountability for Procurement delivery of brand projects across multiple
brands. The Brand Supply Chain Director will draw upon the relevant parts of
Procurement to make this happen and work collaboratively across other
functional business partners. This individual has a key influencing, educating
and facilitation role working in partnership with the brand category SVP and
their leadership team. A focus for this role will be early engagement of
Procurement across brand design/development and ownership of the end-to-end
total cost / cost per key of the given brand(s).

Responsibilities

Leading design
of global supply chain strategy for brand programs
Scout and
harvest innovation from the supply chain into the brand teams by
leveraging category teams
Translate
brand requirements into briefs for category team sourcing
Commercialize
brand programs
Challenge
brand design to ensure delivery of IHG and owner ROI
Coordinate
brand programs across multiple projects, categories and teams to drive
supply chain leverage
Co-creation of
designing and delivering guest experiences and optimizing cost
Continuous
improvement through value engineering on cost per key, year over year,
benchmarked to competition
Return on
investment assessment through post project review

Maintains
professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops;
reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks;
participating in professional societies

Contributes to
team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Education

Bachelors’
Degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Statistics, or a relevant field of
work, or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.

Experience

10+ years’
experience in Procurement, Consulting and/or Supply Chain Management in a
global company (hospitality / brand / franchise environment a plus)

Technical Knowledge and Experience

Experience working in a supply
chain role / procurement role within a brand organization
Experience in commercializing
product and solution design for brand programs
Experience in global supply
chain program coordination
Demonstrable experience
challenging and influencing senior stakeholders
Inquisitive nature
– someone inclined to investigate, eager for knowledge, unduly
curious and inquiring.
Demonstrated leadership skills
Strong organizational &
project management skills
Demonstrated experience driving
and delivering innovation into the business – with examples of practical
application
Strong understanding of brand
programs and specifically product development
Commercial skills to facilitate
decision making and advice
Ability to sustain high impact,
trusted relationships with senior stakeholders
Strong global supply chain
strategist to ensure sustainable program delivery
