We are currently looking for a Manufacturing Vision System Innovation Assistant Intern to join our System Engineering team at the largest US Vehicle Plant located in Smyrna, TN. The position will be will be a full-time role lasting for 10-13 months

During the course of your internship, you will have the chance to:
Coordinate and contribute Vision System technology improvements concepts cross functionally across manufacturing departments within the North American region.
Develop and manage information sharing tools for best practices of the manufacturing functions.
Developing and testing new Vision System technology to drive innovative efficiencies.
Maintain alignment with System infrastructure and Vision standards.
Analyzing Image Data for the functions and lead efforts to deliver solutions.
Evaluate and brainstorm on innovation opportunities.
Research technology and raise awareness about relevant innovation trends.
In order to qualify for this role, you must:
Have a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science with Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence or a related field. We will consider candidates in their last year of completing degree requirements.
GPA of 3.0 or above
Strong organization ability with keen attention to detail
Self-motivated and willing to challenge yourself to develop your talents and skill sets
Strong communication skills both written and oral
Have a data mindset with experience in Vision System technology, analysis and innovative thinking is a plus
Experience with or Desire to learn:
Vision System technology
Analyzing Image Data
Vision standards and Best Practices
Ability to program, develop and support Vision System technology
