Project Scheduler

Onsite Construction Project Scheduler to help build, maintain, and provide CPM schedule and reports for construction activities for a data center/mission critical project. The Scheduler will work closely with the Schedule Manager, Project Superintendents, and Construction Managers to input status updates, incorporate changes & delays, and analyze project progress. At times, the scheduler will coordinate with project managers, project engineers, consultants, and other departments to collect schedule data.

Specific Duties & Responsibilities:
Facilitate schedule meetings including phase planning, weekly work planning, and team schedule reviews
Build schedule detail based on construction drawings with input from the project team
Collect and input status updates
Attend progress meetings as needed
Identify changes to the project schedule
Notify teams of impacts to critical path activities
Ensure technical schedule integrity is maintained
Produce & distribute monthly & weekly schedules, forecasts, & reports
Manage Outlook distribution lists & standard form emails
Maintain project schedule documentation

Required Skills, Experience, & Competencies:
Prior experience scheduling large, complex construction projects preferably industrial or manufacturing facilities
Proficient general computer skills (typing, emails, etc)
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Proficient in Primavera P6 software
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Ability to follow procedures
Ability to recognize patterns & trends
Collaborative attitude & focused on supporting the team, including Hoffman, Designers, Owners, and Subcontractors
Attention to detail
Exceptional organization & time management
Willingness to learn and master new software and concepts
Self-motivated, takes initiative

Essential Functions Physical:
Standing/Walking - 25%. Sitting 75%

Hands/Arms - constant use of hands/fingers for mouse/keyboard/computer use.

Sight - Visual acuity in near, mid and far range vision.

Hearing: sufficient to hear conversational levels in person and over the telephone.

Speech sufficient to make oneself heard in person, and be understood over the telephone.

Lift/carry - up to 40 pounds rarely.

Climbing - no climbing required

Bending/Twisting - minimal.

Mental Job Functions:
Accuracy and attention to detail required.

Must be able to work independently, make decisions, and follow through on all assignments.

Must use independent judgment, and organizational and problem solving skills to determine best method to accomplish desired results.
