District Sales Manager—$100,000+ First Year Income Expected!

We’re seeking a District Sales Manager in our Northern Region who will be responsible for leading 3-5 outside sales representatives. Meyer Laboratory is a privately held, family owned business and one of the fastest growing mid-sized businesses in North America. This position will require 60% travel for field coaching, all expenses paid.

Compensation

  • 90K Starting Base Salary
  • Annual 10% Bonus based on growth
  • Year 1 ≈ $90,000 + Bonus
  • Year 2 ≈ $100,000 + Bonus

Job Description

Daily tasks include but are not limited to:

  • Hire, Train, and Develop area sales reps as necessary
  • Provide leadership and coaching to a team of field sales representatives in our Northern Region. (3-states region with 3-4 outside sales reps)
  • Accomplish district sales objective by training, coaching, and leading sales reps in assigned territories
  • Communicate job expectations, planning monitoring and appraising job contributions, enforcing policies and procedures
  • Provide strategic direction for new business growth in this region. Establishes sales objectives by creating a sales plan for each territory in support of national objectives
  • Full profit & loss responsibility, including forecasting, analyzing variances and initiating corrective actions
  • Maintain and expand customer base by coaching territory sales representatives; building and maintaining rapport with key customers and identifying new customer opportunities
  • Approximately 60% travel required to conduct field training
