The Associate, Integrated Planning assists in the planning, implementing and maintaining of media campaigns across multiple channels. As an entry level position, the Associate position represents the start of a media career. This position is essential in the day-to-day tactical management of the media communications account and requires an individual that works well in a team-based, fast paced, detail-oriented environment.

While advanced Integrated Planning thinking is not expected, the successful Associate is resourceful and demonstrates the initiative to participate in advanced projects. The Associate, Integrated Planning position is training-intensive. Aptitude for learning new skills (both technical and organic) and procedures is essential. The Associate is expected to be an active participant, increasing participation over time in the position. The Associate, Integrated Planning is also encouraged to contribute ideas and insights that will benefit our clients.

Assess vendor proposals
Assist in developing planning strategies for maximizing media dollars, and handling media negotiations
Assist in negotiations with vendors to ensure smart investments are made on behalf of client
Works with Integrated Planning team to maintain media budgets and changes to media plan post negotiations
Work in conjunction with AMP on billing and invoicing to maintain consistent process
Keep abreast of all invoices, billing and delivery issues; know when to escalate discrepancies to supervisors
Works with creative agency to understand creative assets available and any custom placements, including QA of assets
Understands intricacies of various tracking services
Works with Digital Ad Operations to ensure flawless implementation
Understands available rich media capabilities and general activation capabilities of all available digital media tactics
Collect and compile screenshots to send in client-ready format

Strong organizational and time management skills
Anticipates & proactively addresses challenges/issues and works with Media Manager to devise solutions
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficient with numbers and budgets
Demonstrated ability to generate and present well-considered solutions
Quick learner that effectively interprets direction the first time it’s given
Thrives in a fast pace, constantly changing environment; can adapt buys due to changes in client objectives, priorities or budgets while minimizing impact on project momentum
Strong analytical skills, ability to relate results to client business objectives
Balanced ability to perform analytically and creatively
Experience using DoubleClick Dart and AtlasDMT adserving technologies
Advanced computer skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Acts judiciously when making decisions for the client, the team & direct reports.
Conducts themselves with character & integrity.
