What will I be doing?

As a Room Service Server, you would be responsible for executing your position's responsibilities in alignment with our Spirit of Service culture and driving company success through performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Coordinate the delivery of scheduled amenities to ensure that all food items requested and necessary supplies are obtained and delivered in a timely manner.
  • Provide direction and support to bus persons with assistance in cleaning the guest corridors when returning to room service. Maintain a clean work environment by picking up dirty dishes from guest's room while performing side work to include but not limited to filling condiments.
  • Follow all applicable safety precautions to food service areas to ensure that all items are presented in accordance with departmental guidelines. Understand room service standards of service, safety and sanitation.
  • Understand products and menu items. Must know the location of all rooms, suites and meeting rooms as well as the best route for deliveries.

  • Must be 21 years of age or older. Must be able to handle more than one function at a time by being well organized and attentive to details.
  • 6 months or more of customer service experience.
  • Must possess or be able to obtain a Health and Alcohol Awareness card upon offer for hire.
  • Must be flexible to work any day, any shift to include weekends and holidays.

It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

  • 2 or more years of food service experience
  • Previous room service experience
  • Previous hotel/hospitality industry experience
