Overview & Responsibilities
Provides project support for corporate and field initiatives by researching, monitoring and influencing to ensure a successful program implementation. Provides support to Operations management team by identifying new processes to streamline tasks associated with daily work functions. Provides support to the Operations Group as well as Records Reconciliation Team via detailed property records research, financial and statistical analysis and other property records analysis as needed.
Perform detailed review of property records with location to determine scope and reconciliation efforts
Utilize analytical and technical skills to assist location with analysis of current records available
Utilize superior attention to detail to identify variances in location records including ownership, dates and transfers
Assists Project manager with analysis and spreadsheet (Excel) preparation and completion.
Produces analytical reports for both field locations and management when needed on an ad hoc basis.
Responds and addresses ad hoc questions from Field locations, HMIS team, mapping staff etc…
Provides analytical and special project support to the Operations Manager
Assist with property verification walks with location maintenance representative
Perform quality reviews of the garden by garden reconciliation that the project coordinators complete
Work with the Maps Team to ensure updates are correct and correctly linked in HMIS
Assists in defining and creating improvement solutions to existing funeral and cemetery processes as well as corporate driven policies and procedures related to field operations.
Researches and provides data analysis related to the creation, implementation, and monitoring of corporate and field initiatives.
Works with group leadership to complete high priority projects and interacts with other corporate departments to manage data flow and deadlines.
Manage ad hoc reporting requests and identify reporting process improvements
Requirements & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting or Finance or relevant field of study
Lean Experience a Plus
A minimum of 4 years applicable work experience in area requiring metric reporting and data analysis
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Strong computer skills- with the focus on Excel
Experience in utilizing Excel and Access.
Highly detail oriented with a careful eye for quality control and presentation of work
Ability to travel greater than 100%
Self-motivated and driven to produce results within tight deadlines and with maximum quality within allowed time constraints
Strong problem solving abilities
Strong knowledge of Funeral and/or Cemetery field operations a plus
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook
Advanced Excel skills (complex formulas, pivot-tables, v-look-ups and other advanced functions) a plus
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and presentation skills, including ability to speak in front of groups, a plus
Project management skills a plus
