The part-time Job Development Coordinator reports to the Director Career Services
This is a 10 month/academic year position: 15 hours/week, 30 weeks/year
The Job Development Coordinator is responsible for developing FT/PT job opportunities and internships for Bucks Students. This position interfaces with students, employers, faculty, alumni, and the Bucks Online Job Board. Additionally, the incumbent is responsible for providing tier 2 assistance to employers who have listings on the Online Job Board.
The Job Development Coordinator will work with students to get them prepared for and connected to potential employment opportunities, and on occasion, will deliver class presentations on job search related topics at the Upper Bucks Campus in Perkasie and the Gene and Marlene Epstein Campus in Bristol.
The successful candidate in this position is tech savy, has experience with Symplicity (or equivalent CSM), and will understand how to leverage social media and various other web based communication techniques to reach employers in the community.
Proven experience in Human Resources, Career Services, or a placement agency is required. The candidate must have experience developing job opportunities and interfacing with employers.

Hourly Range: $25.7354 - $32.8985 (commensurate with experience)

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:
Associates degree and 4 years experience or a Bachelors Degree.
Experience in the following: Human Resources OR Career Services Office developing job opportunities and interfacing with employers in a higher education environment OR placement agency experience is required.
Possess strong written and oral communication and online research skills.
Excellent interpersonal and listening skills.
Ability and willingness to learn new software programs.
Demonstrated critical thinking and sound judgment.
Must enjoy working with people, especially college students and employers.
A driver's license check will be part of applying for this position.
