Kadlec has an exciting opportunity for a Transport Aide to join our growing Central Transport team located in Richland, Washington!
Shift Details: Per Diem. Variable shifts.
High School Diploma or GED from an accredited educational institution required.
Customer service experience required.
Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS required.
General office or receptionist experience preferred.
Patient care experience preferred.
Medical Terminology experience preferred.
Bi-lingual or multi-lingual skills preferred.
Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
As a Transport Aide you transport patients to the department, prepare the patient for the procedure, assist the technologists as requested, and perform related duties as assigned.
Transports patients safely and timely on proper transportation device to and from the Imaging Department.
Effectively communicates with nursing unit and modalities to ensure safe and efficient transport of patients.
Transfers or assists in transferring the patient to the examining table, assists technologist in positioning the patient and demonstrates sensitivity to the patient’s modesty.
Responds to patient’s questions and concerns about the examination.
Confirms paper work is complete for each procedure.
Assures the technologist has supplies, such as: contrast media, syringes and equipment needed prior to each procedure and assists in preparing equipment for the procedure.
