The Marketing Programs Specialist will be responsible for identifying, developing and managing the integrated marketing programs that support the development and execution of the North American Sales and Marketing plan.
Develops and executes key marketing programs for a specified customer segment through the entire sales funnel with the goal of lead generation, lead conversion and creation of customer loyalty.
Manages the relations between the sales team and the marketing organization.
Campaigns in the program will include but not be limited to such components as development and administration of annual business plans and cooperative advertising funds, technical training, inventory stock levels, stock rotations, and pricing structures, trade fairs, advertising, social media, thought leadership and product launches – potentially all elements of the marketing mix.
Generates and analyzes results of marketing programs through reporting on a regular basis (KPIs); responsible for continuous improvements. Documents all activities on marketing calendars.
Partners with all marketing team members to align resources and partners with internal and external third party marketing partners to assure success of programs and campaigns.
Partners with key corporate marketing teams to align campaigns with corporate resources, brand guidelines and communications.
Communicates campaign efforts both internally and externally.
Creates and manages marketing programs in SAP CRM.
4 years college/Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing, Business or relevant field required
Advanced college/Master’s degree in Business required
2 - 5 years prior experience in industrial automation or manufacturing marketing programs for technical products required
Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint). CRM System experience (SAP preferred).
Outstanding interpersonal skills, including the proven ability to work across different audiences, personalities and experience levels.
Strong ability to work in an environment characterized by technology- and engineering-focused concepts and their translation into value propositions for a variety of audiences.
Excellent project management skills, including the proven ability to handle multiple complex projects simultaneously with varied audiences and against deadline.
Significant hands-on experience building and executing successful marketing programs that leverage multiple channels to achieve marketing and business goals with measurable results.
Exceptional organizational and budget management skills.
Able to work well independently or in a team environment.
