We're actively seeking part-time legal support to help drive our ongoing growth. This role is expected to require approximately 5 hours weekly, depending on business conditions and growth projections.

Key responsibilities would include:
Drafting, review and ongoing management of contractual agreements with clients, vendors and industry partners
Providing legal counsel to CEO and leadership team as needed on legal questions and concerns
Proactively managing legal exposure associated with ongoing business operations
Representing the company's interests in periodic discussions and negotiations with key external stakeholders
Recommending and implementing key process and system changes designed to streamline the firm’s legal activities

Preferred qualifications:
Minimum 10 years’ experience with complex B2B contractual agreements, either as corporate or outside counsel
Experience with IT professional services companies preferred
Familiarity with the technology and/or professional services industry sectors and the associated legal needs and challenges
Exceptional written and verbal communications skills
Strong business acumen and substantial experience supporting operating leaders across multiple functions (e.g. technology, sales, client service)

Required credentials:
JD degree and license to practice law in the State of Connecticut

This role is based in Westport, Connecticut, with opportunities for remote work (i.e. home office) after an initial orientation and acclimation process.
