We are currently seeking an Analytical Scientist I to support Aji Bio-Pharma Services' manufacturing. The Analytical Scientist I will work with external customers and internal colleagues to transfer client’s analytical methods, and validate phase appropriately. Develop Mass Spec. based solutions to product characterization as well as perform routine testing. This position requires excellent knowledge and practical experience with proteomics sample preparation techniques and LC/MS-based method development as well as data processing. The position will collaborate with internal QC and QA team members to ensure compliance to specifications, processes, and procedures.
Perform method development, method transfer, qualification, verification and validation and product characterization, technology introduction and other special projects including ADC programs.
Follow USP and ICH guidelines in analytical method transfer/qualification and validation with GMP compliance including data integrity and GDP.
Conducts peptide mapping experiments to assist in structure elucidation
Provide scientific technical problem solving and collaboration with Product Development team.
Attend Client meetings and work directly with clients on their analytical methods, timelines and on deliverables.
Training and mentoring of junior staff.
Responsible for exhibiting professional behavior with both internal and external business associates that reflects positively on the company and is consistent with the company’s policies and practices.
Regular and reliable attendance on a full-time basis [or in accordance with posted schedule].
Embodies Aji Bio-Pharma’s cultural values and aligns daily actions with department goals and company culture.
Ph.D. degree in Life sciences discipline or equivalent and 12 years’ experience in the Biopharmaceutical industry or MS degree in Life Science and minimum of 5 years’ experience in the Biopharmaceutical Industry required.
Experience in LCMS, HPLC, CE-SDS, cIEF, CD and UP/EP/JP pharmacopial methods.
Experience in analytical method development and validation.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to collaborate well internally in matrix environment.
Ability to identify and solve technical problems proactively and independently.
Willing to work with Band 4 and Band 5 highly potent compounds.
Demonstrated success in technical proficiency, scientific creativity, collaboration with others and independent thought.
Works on problems of diverse scope in which analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.
Exercises judgment within generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
