Boyd Welding is a fast paced growing manufacturer of aluminum tank and box components. our in-house CNC Machine shop produces Weld Fittings, Caps, Necks and adapters that are used on all of our products and also supplied to other manufacturers all over the world.
Scope:
As a CNC Machinist you will be responsible and expected to Program, post, setup and operate Haas CNC mills, lathes, to accurately produce various parts to specification.
Daily Responsibilities:
- Read and understand various types of drawings and sketches and produce parts within tolerance
- accurately use CAD / CAM software (fusion 360) to provide efficient toolpath of parts and post to CNC Machines
- Perform all aspects of setup, GCODE programming and operations of CNC lathe and mill machines
- Perform, document, and maintain inspections in process of parts being produced
- Perform, document and maintain final inspections of completed parts
- Identify and fix issues that arise in a production environment
- Assemble, package, pallet finished parts for shipment or delivery
- Work Safely, efficient and accurately without supervision
Job Requirements:
- Must be at-least 18yr old
- Must have extensive knowledge of GCODE programming
- Must have extensive knowledge of CAD/ CAM (Fusion 360) drawing and posting toolpath
- Must be able to read all types of manual measuring equipment
- Have Broad knowledge of different materials and techniques required to perform machining operations.
- Must Read & Write the English language
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must maintain reliable attendance
- Able to work weekends and overtime as required
- Able to lift and move 50lbs regularly.
Work Experience:
-Minimum 2 years previous verifiable experience as a CNC machinist where setup, programming and inspection was required.
- CAD / CAM experience required Autodesk Fusion 360 preferred.
Employment Type / Hours:
-Full Time 40hrs
-2nd Shift = 3:15PM to 11:45PM Monday-Friday
- Overtime as needed
