Job Title: Oil & Gas – Evergreen Year Round Posting – Skilled Craft (Pipefitters, Riggers, Welders, Civil Carpenter, Iron Worker) – Multiple Locations

Summary:
Hiring for seven types of positions: Pipefitters, Riggers, Specialty Welders, TA Mechanics/ Boilermaker, Tower Mechanics, Civil Carpenters, Iron Workers

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Rigger

Rigger is a craftsman who has the proven qualifications and skill and who understands all crane symbols and can direct a crane operator and crew during rigging operations. Is educated in the proper techniques and safety requirements to secure, lift and set equipment, piping or other objects that require lifting apparatuses or other methods of lifting. Must have the ability to perform basic math skills, such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Must be able to maintain communications with supervisor of job status and current assigned responsibilities.

Qualifications:
High school education or equivalent preferred, NCCER Certification Preferred. Must be able to perform work wearing personnel protective equipment. Including but not limited to the following: rain gear, chemical protective clothing, supplied air and air purifying respirators, safety harness, sand blast hoods, Nomex coveralls, hard hat, ear plugs and safety glasses. Must be able to work long hours and all shift schedules that may be up to seven days a week for extended duration’s of up to 8 weeks or more. Minimum of 4 years’ experience in construction, maintenance or turnaround, with at least 2 years in the oil and gas industry.

Pipefitter

Pipe Fitter is a craftsman with specialized training that is capable of reading blueprints and interpreting drawings to layout and construct piping spools associated with industrial piping installations. This individual is very well versed in all types of metals and other piping materials. The pipe fitter should also be well versed in rigging and be able to install piping systems of varying size and configuration. Must have the ability to perform basic math skills, such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Must be able to maintain communications with supervisor of job status and current assigned responsibilities.

Qualifications:
Must be able to lift and carry up to 60 pounds unassisted. Must be able to work in confined spaces. Must be able to perform work wearing personnel protective equipment. Including but not limited to the following: rain gear, chemical protective clothing, supplied air and air purifying respirators, safety harness, sand blast hoods, Nomex coveralls, hard hat, ear plugs and safety glasses. Must be able to work long hours and all shift schedules that may be up to seven days a week for extended duration’s of up to 8 weeks or more. Minimum of 4 years’ experience in construction, maintenance or turnaround, with at least 2 years in the oil and gas industry. NCCER Pipe Fitter Certification Preferred.

Welder

Rig Welder (includes Exotic welders) has capabilities and is or can certify/qualify to weld different alloy metals, such as carbon steel, stainless, chrome, Inconel, nickel, etc. Lays out and fabricates/welds pipe and fittings, welds on tanks, pressure vessels, furnace shells and tubes. Applies knowledge of geometry, physical properties and welding techniques. Reads and interprets blueprints. Reads and works from isometric piping drawings. A rig welder owns and operates his own truck and equipment.

Qualfications:
Operate mobile motorized vehicles and motorized equipment, as trained. Must demonstrate the ability to comprehend and recognize all job-related work permits and complete Job Hazard Analysis. Must be able to follow and comprehend supervisor’s instructions. Must have the ability to perform basic math skills, such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Must be able to lift and carry up to 60 pounds unassisted. Must be able to work in confined spaces. Must be able to perform work wearing personnel protective equipment. Including but not limited to the following: rain gear, chemical protective clothing, supplied air and air purifying respirators, safety harness, sand blast hoods, Nomex coveralls, hard hat, ear plugs and safety glasses. Must be able to work long hours and all shift schedules that may be up to seven days a week for extended duration’s of up to 8 weeks or more. Minimum of 4 years’ experience in construction, maintenance or turnaround, with at least 2 years in the oil and gas industry.

Welders will be required to pass certification testing set up and scheduled by the company.

Mechanic

Mechanic is a craftsman who has the proven qualifications that has experience and knowledge of Boilers, Towers and Vessels, Exchangers, Heaters, Basic Pipefitting and all other refinery equipment and is familiar with the disassembling and reassembling of such equipment to include any associated piping, parts, make up and bolt up. This craft is also trained on rigging and is able to assist with crane and hand rigging operations.

Qualifications:
Must be reliable—daily attendance for scheduled work is mandatory. Must be capable of identifying, utilizing and operating tools and equipment associated with craft discipline. Operate mobile motorized vehicles and motorized equipment, as required and trained. Must be able to lift and carry up to 60 pounds unassisted. Must be able to work in confined spaces. Must be able to perform work wearing personnel protective equipment. Including but not limited to the following: rain gear, chemical protective clothing, supplied air and air purifying respirators, safety harness, sand blast hoods, Nomex coveralls, hard hat, ear plugs and safety glasses. Must be able to work long hours and all shift schedules that may be up to seven days a week for extended duration’s of up to 8 weeks or more. Minimum of 4 years’ experience in construction, maintenance or turnaround, with at least 2 years in the oil and gas industry. NCCER Industrial Maintenance Mechanic Certification Preferred.

Civil Carpenter

Civil Carpenter is a craftsman who has the proven qualifications and skill with the ability to read blue prints, Shoot elevations, measure, fabricate, and install concrete forms; tie rebar, poor and finish concrete, excavate soil and trenches and in some cases perform minimal scaffold building. This craft is also able to assist with crane and hand rigging operations.

Qualifications:
Must be reliable—daily attendance for scheduled work is mandatory. Must be capable of identifying, utilizing and operating tools and equipment associated with craft discipline. Operate mobile motorized vehicles and motorized equipment, as required and trained. Must be able to lift and carry up to 60 pounds unassisted. Must be able to work in confined spaces. Must be able to perform work wearing personnel protective equipment. Including but not limited to the following: rain gear, chemical protective clothing, supplied air and air purifying respirators, safety harness, sand blast hoods, Nomex coveralls, hard hat, ear plugs and safety glasses. Iron Worker

Iron Worker is a craftsman who has the proven qualifications that has experience and knowledge in reading iron work blue prints, capable of layout and fit up, familiar with splicing plates and gusset installation, bolt-up connections, moment connections, some structural welding and minor structural fabrication. Must have advanced knowledge of all required tools and equipment for the trade such as machining, operating hole saws, magnetic drills, drill presses and shearing tools. This craft should be experienced and comfortable working at heights up to 300'. This craft should also have training on rigging and be able to assist with crane and hand rigging operations.
