Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
15 years of experience in product development and management within Networking.
5 years of experience leading teams within technical program management or equivalent roles.
Experience driving technical programs in network engineering, network content delivery or data center networking within telecommunications or Internet industries.
Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering.

We seek a Director of Technical Program Management, Technical Infrastructure for Networking Technologies that will focus on leading the technology programs and solutions to deliver universal, dependable network connectivity to billions of users around the world.
You will lead a team responsible for managing cross-functional programs that span across Google backbone, data center, peering and content distribution networks. A strong background in networking technologies, software and hardware engineering, distributed systems, network content distribution, storage, network operations, technology deployment, and computer sciences will be ideal for success in this role. You are an excellent leader and have experience managing teams of different disciplines to produce timely results. Setting vision and direction, improving productivity, quality standards, resolving systemic problems, identifying trends and implementing change are all keys to success.

Set vision and execution of organizational direction for broad, cross-organizational projects across the Networking teams in Technical Infrastructure.
Partner closely with senior leadership in Engineering and product managers.
Ensure TPM alignment with engineering and product priorities.
Forecast resourcing requirements for TPM, while driving sublinear scaling at a rapid pace.
Lead other TPM groups to streamline processes, simplify execution, manager OKRs, release on time, bring tooling efficiencies and help teams in execution.
