Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems has an opening for a Project Management 2 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in El Segundo, CA.
The selected candidate will be a part of the Fleet Support Engineering IPT supporting the F/A-18 Post Production Team to ensure vertical and horizontal integration of Sustainment Tasks and processes.
Assist in the development and provide visibility to all fleet support objectives and plans.
Provide cost, schedule, issues, risk and opportunity visibility to the IPT Lead using the F/A-18 Risk/Issue Database and/or SharePoint for Sustainment contracts.
Coordinate weekly/monthly/quarterly reports and briefings for submittal to NGC management and various customers.
Facilitate several weekly and bi-weekly meetings for the IPT Leader, and ensure meetings are conducted in an efficient and consistent manner.
Capture and follow through on the status of action items developed during various meetings.
Coordinate development of Root Cause and Corrective Action analysis for issue resolution.
Manage ECP (Engineering Change Proposal) workload, and contractual requirements.
The selected candidate should thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, and a collaborative/team setting across all levels. The ability to multitask and juggle priorities in an ever changing environment is a plus.
3 years experience in project management, operations, or related OR 1 year with Master's Degree
Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Tool Suite
Knowledge of proposal preparation, contracting, and configuration management is a plus
Experience in global supply chain is a plus
Candidate must be team oriented and capable of working with multi-disciplined teams
Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to interface with all levels of employees and management
