Director Executive Search – Indianapolis, IN Preferred Location
The Director Executive Search is responsible for developing and leading a premier Executive Search Capability at Anthem. Leads a team of recruiters and sourcers, attracting and selecting top talent for senior level positions in a timely fashion. Collaborates by bringing all key stakeholders (Business, HR and TA) together in a pro-active manner to align with business objectives and prioritized needs. Designs and ensures a powerful Engagement Experience recognizes the unique expectations and needs of Candidates and Hiring Managers. Works with Head of Talent Acquisition, to develop a disciplined Governance Assessment Approach to ensure success profiles are clearly defined and rigorously assessed during the recruitment process
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
Focusing on leaders, acts as a talent strategist by researching, ideating and constantly improving the talent acquisition strategies using data analytics, industry research, and business input from the talent acquisition leadership.
Provides expertise in specific areas of talent acquisition including, but not limited to: workforce planning, employment branding, sourcing, process improvement, and technology enhancement.
Identify areas for improvement for processes for leadership.
Leverages data analytics to inform talent acquisition strategy for leadership.
Conducts industry trend research to inform talent acquisition strategy for leadership.
Creates and monitors talent acquisition performance KPIs / SLAs and adjusts strategy and processes accordingly for continuous improvement.
Participates in workforce planning activities, including succession planning for leadership.
Interface with TA Strategy Director to gain insight into business talent needs.
Partners with diversity team, human resource business partners, employee relations and legal to ensure policy, practice and process are regulatory and legal.
Hires, trains, coaches, counsels and evaluates performance of direct reports.
Qualifications: Requires a BA degree in HR related field and/or marketing or communications field and 8-10 years of talent acquisition experience working in a large search firm, and/or leading executive search for a large organization. Three years managing teams and leading talent acquisition or human resources teams required. Any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. Experience creating talent acquisition-related strategies such as process improvement strategic sourcing, diversity initiatives, etc. required. Experience managing the performance of a third-party, RPO partners required. In-depth knowledge of the talent acquisition landscape in health insurance industry preferred. Master's degree preferred. Professional HR / TA Certification(s) preferred.
