You don’t need to be face-to-face with people to understand their needs and provide the solution that’s best for them. You are a skilled web and product presenter, can build bonding and rapport over the phone, and you’ve got a way of making those on the other end of the line feel like you’re sitting right there next to them.
You use rock-solid selling processes. You are disciplined in your sales approach and process, yet leverage coaching on ways to improve it and take yourself to the next level.
You meet or beat your sales targets. Not sometimes, but all of the time. And, if not, you don’t blame the market, the product, the economy, or your dog.
You’re not afraid to sell slightly ahead of the product curve and you know how to sell within bounds. You are adept at setting expectations with your prospects. You bring customer feedback to the table and clearly articulate their needs to Company internal stakeholders.
You enjoy meeting new people and have the energy and desire to introduce our product to adjacent markets, forging ahead sometimes even when the path is not clear.
You are passionate about the selling function. You are constantly learning and improving your craft. You have an equally strong passion for the Company and your products and services, and impart that onto others.
You have credible experience working with product management, marketing, services and executive management on company and market strategies and execution plans.
You are technically astute. You are savvy with mobile devices, social media, and computers.

Minimum of 3-5 years of direct sales experience selling enterprise software or technology products.
Significant experience using CRM tools. Even better if you’ve been part of team tasked with selecting, deploying, and driving user adoption of such a tool.
An efficient and effective traveler. Likely 25-percent of your time.
Exceptional listening skills are a must, as are written and verbal communication skills.
If you’ve developed and sold in multi-channel environments (direct, channel, strategic partnerships), this is a plus.
If you’ve sold in geographies outside of the US, this is a plus.
A college degree is preferred.
While Matrix Solutions is located in Pittsburgh, PA, qualified applicants that wish to work remotely will be considered.
This position has an uncapped compensation plan with a base salary plus commission, and reports to the Chief Revenue Officer.
