Position Overview
This role will be focused on the movie rental business of a major studio. The team is part of a group applying emerging media tactics like addressable advertising, interactivity and advanced local advertising opportunities to the development of our client’s businesses.

The Role Objective
The Manager supports the Associate Director in providing leadership, strategic direction and input for media plans for their assigned account(s). The Manager will execute movie rental advertising campaigns and must possess strong communication skills, ability to handle multiple tasks, have a solid excel knowledge and execute projects under set timelines.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze media performance and KPI’s to determine the extent to which the original objectives and strategies were met
  • Provide Performance Analysis and learnings from each title plan
  • Assist in developing plan strategy aligned with client business objectives and ensure plans deliver upon the agreed to strategies and approach
  • Oversee plan development and execution from inception to completion
  • Create presentations that tell a story with data
  • Delegate appropriately to team to support plan development and execution
  • Participate in plan negotiations and media team activities
  • Foster a good working relationship across all client teams to facilitate flawless execution of plans
  • Establishes a relationship with the client through a demonstration of industry knowledge and of the client’s basic business issues
  • Steward relationship with outside agency partners (creative, Digital, etc.)

  • Advanced Excel skills (e.g. pivot tables, vlookups, etc.)

Experience:
  • 3-5+ years of related experience within a media agency
  • Solid understanding of the principles of marketing and advertising, as well as an understanding of media concepts and terms, creative and budget requirements
  • Studio experience is a plus
  • Working knowledge of Syndicated tools (Donovan, MRI, comScore, etc.)
  • Strong Excel skills (i.e. pivot tables, advanced functions)
  • Strong analytical skills with consideration to company/client objectives
  • Self-starter personality, able to take on projects and own them to completion
  • Ability to create presentations that coincide with data
  • Project management; ability to manage multiple projects across critical yet often fluctuating deadlines
