The Bi-County Collaborative is seeking a licensed social worker or school adjustment counselor to join their clinical team at the Summit Middle and High School programs. The Summit programs provide comprehensive special education services and accommodations to approximately 65 students from numerous school districts in the area. The therapeutic milieu is critical to the success of the programs, and the candidate for this position will have numerous responsibilities to help develop, support, and maintain that culture. Specifically, the position includes conducting counseling sessions; running weekly therapeutic groups; providing ongoing clinical support and guidance to students, teachers, and paraprofessionals; and collaborating with families and outside providers to ensure that treatment plans are well-integrated across settings.
The clinical team at Summit includes doctoral-level psychologists, regular consultation from a child and adolescent psychiatrist, school adjustment counselors, BCBAs, and numerous special educators and support staff. The successful candidate will become an integral part of this clinical team and will be supported in their development throughout the school year. If you are dedicated to "making it possible" for our students and their families to succeed, we would welcome the opportunity to meet with you to discuss the position further.
