Reporting to the Dispensary Manager, the part-time Dispensary Coordinator conducts the day to day operations of the Clinic Dispensary. The Clinic Dispensary provides natural medicines as prescribed primarily by the clinical faculty of the Health Science Center and in some situations, directly to the public.

Position Summary Information
Major Duties and Responsibilities
Preparation of medicines to be dispensed as needed;
Prepare computer invoice for payment by patients;
Calculate and accept payment ;
Reconcile dispensary income with Senior Clinical Service Administrator;
Maintain transaction and financial records of Dispensary Operations;
Assist practitioners, student clinicians and clients as needed regarding Dispensary products and their availability and with Dispensary policies;
Ordering and stocking medicines as needed-maintain inventory;
Maintain effective and collegial communications with companies supplying products;
Conduct inventory of Dispensary products;
Conduct satellite clinic inventory;
Other related duties as may be assigned.
Experience with Windows operating system
Experience with Quickbooks
Communication skills for interacting daily with vendors, supervising clinicians, student clinicians, and customers
Ability to apply the policies and procedures of the Dispensary
Required Level and/or Type of Education AA degree or equivalent education required; bachelor’s degree preferred
Required Years and Type of Experience Experience in retail and/or medical office
Biological or medical background preferred;
Experience in natural food stores and/or with natural medicine preferred
