What you’ll be doing...

Manage our ‘Black Box’ deal desk:
Provides engineering cross functional support to thousands of customers (including Fortune one hundred customers at the CXX level) and their associated Verizon account teams including our senior leadership team across all of our business channels (SLED, VES, Medium business etc..). This encompasses alternative data solutions for some eighteen thousand low speed DS0s data circuits that are being withdrawn to support Verizon’s copper retirement initiative.
Independently reviews, approve and track one to two million annual Network Transformation expense capital allocation to Verizon approved vendors.
Conduct a monthly audit on compliance, ensure proper fund disbursement, and customer compliance and execute corrective action as appropriate.
Coordinate new trials with our customers and vendors for ongoing development of new solutions.
Manage our VOIP deal desk

Provide cross functional support to roughly three thousand five hundred customers and sales teams across all of Verizon’s Retail business channels (SLED, VES, Medium business etc..) in an effort to provide a expense capital to customers meeting criteria to displace legacy Verizon ILEC voice services for some three hundred thousand lines to move them to a strategic VOIP solution such as UCasS, VCE or BDV.
Independently review, approve and submit a one million dollar budget annually the Network Transformation expenditure for customer quotes to offset VOIP station hardware.
Provide a monthly audit on compliance and ensure fund disbursement.
Manage our SCON (Special Construction) deal desk

Independently review and approve ten million in Special Construction operational capital in active NT wire centers. Requires independent investigation of current build requirements and building specifications.
Provide a monthly audit on compliance and ensure fund disbursement
Supports over five hundred thousand in new annual revenue.
Drives over ten thousand new open for sale (OFS)
Project Manager DS0 withdrawal

Direct responsibility to manage DS0 withdrawal for four wire centers covering on athousand DS0s annually. These circuits are directly tied to Public Safety organizations specifically local police, fire and ambulance.
Independently direct customer interaction and sales teams’ engagement to ensure customers are taking appropriate action and offers alternative solutions.
Provides direct feedback to management team on progress and recommendations for appropriate Verizon action and ongoing process improvement.
What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:
Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience
Six or more years of relevant work experience.

Even better if you have:
Master’s degree.
Five or more years of direct customer facing roles.
Knowledge of Microsoft’s Office including Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
Five or more years of experience of ILEC products and services.
Exceptional leadership, management, interpersonal, strategic planning and execution skills.
Strong project management and presentation skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Verizon Operations or Sales experience.
VLSS Black belt or Green belt.
Experience in project management and/or operations with customer facing interactions.
