TITLE: Manager, Decision Management
DUTIES: Discover Products Inc. seeks Manager, Decision Management in Riverwoods, IL to participate in the development and enhancement of credit strategies, policies, processes and procedures. Manage cross-functional projects to deliver business goals in a collaborative environment. Participate in assessing integrity and accuracy of internal and external data to evaluate credit risk, business strategy, compliance and the regulatory environment, customer behavior and product performance. Participate in monitoring performance, advising management of trends, and recommending applicable actions/corrective solutions. Identify, establish and maintain effective process performance tracking scorecards to ensure processes are performing as expected. Identify and establish effective risk controls in the strategies. Participate in design and implementation of comprehensive tests and evaluate financial impact from various treatments. Participate in optimization schemes, customer segmentation and predictive models. Participate in implementation discussions with operational teams to ensure accuracy and soundness of execution and provide testing to ensure proper execution of policy in systems and ad-hoc processes. Promote a risk-aware culture, ensure efficient and effective risk and compliance management practices by adhering to required standards and processes.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Operations and Technology Management, Analytics, Statistics or a related field and four (4) years of experience in job offered or related position: evaluating customer behavior and product performance using internal and external data; participating in discussion with operational teams for implementation of policy in systems; monitoring performance and advising corrective solutions; utilizing technologies including SAS, SQL, Excel and VBA. One (1) year of experience must include utilizing Tableau or similar data visualization tool. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Master’s degree and two (2) years of experience in the above listed skills.
