Digital Product Manager will be responsible for managing a number of digital services within the online and mobile platforms for Business Banking customers. Digital services includes: Business Baking, Payments, ACH Collections, Basic Payroll, and merchant services.
The key objectives of this role centers on delivering a best in class digital merchant products, for new and existing clients, across core platforms and channels.
Position Overview and Responsibilities
This position is a blend of supporting ongoing projects, understanding the product design, define strategy, driving development and creating an integrated experience for customers and bank.
Delivering innovative product designs and features to improve client loyalty and profitability.
Tracking and analyzing client, market and competitive solutions, including potential threats and opportunities
Creating strategy documents and product plans.
Leading product discussions with technology and other business partners and supporting product rollouts every month.
Building business cases and analyzing ROI and presenting to key stakeholders.
Assist and guide business partners in developing business requirements.
Work closely with the business and translate business needs into functional specifications.
Work closely with the technical teams and participate into design discussions.
Conduct research to determine if a business need solution exists within or outside the business unit.
Representing and leading the needs of Business Banking customers and banking team within digital system development and projects along with any product and policy changes.
Building relationships and partnering with internal and external groups.
Candidates should have excellent written and oral communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and outstanding analytical and research skills, as well as a passion for emerging digital technologies. In addition to being a seasoned, well trained professional, the successful candidate will be a strategic thinker with the ability to inspire confidence from, and to collaborate closely with technology leaders and internal stakeholders.
Strategic product development and developing integrated experience for business specific services like Merchant Payments, Fraud Protection, ACH Payments, ACH Collections, and Basic Payroll within the Digital platform.
Over all 7+ years of experience working as Product owner, Project Management, Business analyst and as Technical Owner / lead.
3+ years of product management experience or diverse project management experience
1-2 years of retail/business banking/commercial banking/ merchant services experience
1-2+ years of experience with Digital and Mobile products and services
1+ years of experience with payment products: Merchant Processing, Payments, ACH
2+ years of experience as a business analyst within a technology organization.
2+ years of experience as a BA techniques such as process models, data flow diagrams, or other diagramming tools and models
Ability to understand the needs of Business Banking customers and the banking teams that support these customers.
Experience using agile methodology and writing user stories.
Strong analytical skills and writing skills, to include solid experience in writing functional and technical specifications
Ability to build and design an integrated customer experience across products.
Ability to think strategically and develop roadmap for products and services.
Ability to build and work together with cross-functional teams, sell ideas, and deliver results against deadlines.
Ability to solve complex problems and develop solutions and communicate to the organization in a actionable manner
Ability to develop business cases with operational and financial metrics to justify projects
