Protege Hunters recruiting firm seeks a Technical Support Engineer with experience in MS IIS and authentication for a role in Irvine, CA (possibly remote).
Direct-hire position for US Citizen or Green Card holder (no C2C)
Work on-site in Irvine, CA (remote is a possibility)
Needed: 3 years with MS IIS, SaML, Active Directory, Federation, and Authentication

Support Engineers are responsible for providing technical support to customers by answering complex questions on functionality and product usage via web, phone, chat and email. Support Engineers are also responsible for recreating customer problems and collaborating with other parts of the organization to bring resolution for the customer. As a successful Support Engineer you must be able to work independently to troubleshoot customer issues and operate as a key member of a virtual product team. Ability to provide 24X7 on-call Support for critical customer issues.
This is not a Help Desk role
Outstanding customer service skills and the ability to interface, collaborate and prioritize customer issues with R&D teams and effectively communicate solutions to customers
3 years managing or maintaining web applications hosted on IIS
3 years experience with integrating and/or troubleshooting SAML, WS-Fed, OAuth2/OpenID Connect applications.
3 years experience managing Active Directory
3 years using WireShark or Fiddler to troubleshoot network-related issues
3 years in a customer-facing role as a support engineer
