The Content & Communications Manager will manage the content strategy and communications process, execution and distribution. Working with the Events & PR Director, VP of Marketing, Digital Director, Marketing Director and Creative Director to help develop content strategies and inspire support across the organization. They will use knowledge of content marketing, including social media, websites and syndication methods to drive B2B and B2C engagement, and positively impact lead generation via these channels. This person will be a specialist in branded content and digital marketing best practices, and will be able to manage communications such as email blasts, social posting and online portals.

Primary responsibilities

Work with all stake holders to develop monthly editorial calendars, including all social properties, field communications and our content blogs.
Partner with brand and channel teams to develop evergreen and campaign content in support of product goals and new product launches.
Manage regular communications channels and internal communications platforms.
Develop content plans that support new business relationship development for our Business Performance Group (inbound, advertorial, editorial etc.).
Responsible content marketing KPI’s, track progress and adjust to accommodate market and consumer trends.
Stay informed of evolving best practices and provide ongoing recommendations to improve content performance.
Manage the content for in-bound campaigns from conception to completion, including cadence, video and illustrative assets, website and email integration and user/3rd party generated content.
Responsible for usage rights and insuring that all content is maintained in a digital asset tool and legally compliant.
Work with product and brand managers to fully understand our business, key priorities and advocate the necessary content investment required for success.
Have an ear to the ground and connect the dots in discovering content opportunities that exist internally and externally.
Present monthly and quarterly results to internal stakeholders with the ability to tie results and recommendations to business objectives.

What you need for this position

(Required Skills)

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing Communications or equivalent.
6+ years of digital marketing experience.
2+ years of social media marketing experience.
Experience in a high energy collaborative environment, working with internal creative teams and external agencies.
Proactive personality with excellent communication and presentation skills.
Knowledge of Direct Marketing, Market Segmentation, Marketing Research, Coordination, Project Management, Understanding the Customer, Process Improvement, Initiative, Planning, and Financial Skills.
Flexible and collaborative working style.
Adaptable to changing direction of team projects.
Capable of working with various leadership styles and adjusting approach and engagement techniques.
Ability to work independently and complete projects within required timeframes.
Proficiency with
Proficiency with Pardot or other marketing automation platforms.
High energy individual with a “can do” attitude.
Ability to legally work permanently in the U.S. on a full-time basis.
