What You'll Do: Under the direction of the Assistant Director, the Therapist will be responsible for providing comprehensive mental health services to ensure quality client care. They will ensure documentation adheres to DMH standards and participate in an interdisciplinary team to maintain a healthy, therapeutic, and safe environment for program participants. Duties:
- Provide individual, family, play, and group therapy for designated caseload of program participants, utilizing DSM for diagnosing, and conducting psycho-social assessments and treatment planning.

Document client services in accordance with Department of Mental Health standards and STRTP regulations, and ensure accuracy in work to meet all deadline expectations.

Conduct visits to homes, schools, and other service providers to assist program participants in achieving their service plan goals, managing community and family crises involving children and parents.

Provide 24-hour availability and crisis intervention on an as-needed or regularly scheduled basis, which may include weekends and evenings.

Evaluate caregiver/child/family progress and participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, maintaining fidelity to evidence-based practices.

Coordinate linkage to appropriate intra-agency and community resources, including coordination of clients' psychiatric needs and Intensive Care Coordination Services (ICC).

Maintain professional boundaries with program participants and colleagues, and follow state laws and agency mandates regarding child abuse reporting.

Actively participate in administrative and clinical supervision and meetings, following up with the supervisor in a timely manner regarding significant issues, and maintaining confidentiality as required by St. Anne's, licensing, HIPAA, and other regulatory agencies.

Provide intensive, comprehensive mental health services to children and families at least 1-2 times per week in program participants' homes, schools, fields, or offices, maintaining effective collaboration with the treatment team and assisting with the development and/or facilitation of Child and Family Team (CFT) meetings.

Participate in monthly staffing meetings with agency team members and complete additional required outcome measures as outlined in the program contract.

Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology or Counseling is required.
-
Ability to be registered with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences is required.
-
Experience in In-Home Services or work with adolescents preferred.

Strong clinical skills in individual, family and group therapy.

Good oral, written, and organizational skills

Physical ability to perform Pro-ACT, administer first aid/CPR and operate an Agency motor vehicle .

Requires possession of reliable automobile and a valid California Driver's License as well as a driving record acceptable to the agency's insurance carrier.

Must maintain and provide proof of automotive liability insurance coverage.

Ability to independently use a computer and the ability to learn necessary computer programs.

Bilingual skills in Spanish preferred.
