About Us
WayPoint Academy is a residential treatment center specializing in treating adolescents (13-18) with anxiety, depression, and OCD. We are located in Huntsville and are open year-round.
Role
Youth Mentors assist in the development and treatment of our students and making a positive impact in their lives. Responsibilities include teaching students everything from how to fold a shirt, cook meals, and belay a rappel. Mentors work with therapists and teachers to help our students overcome their anxiety and depression so they can participate in life. Gain valuable professional development.
Qualifications
- Have a high school diploma
- Must be at least 19 years old, 21 years old to drive students.
- Must be available to work Saturday and/or Sunday
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Successful completion of a background check
- Must be reliable and punctual
- Active participant in recreation activities with youths
- Positive role model
- Strong boundaries
Position Information
- Starting wage - Days $16.50 and Swings $17.50/hour
- Free meals provided on shift
- WayPoint Academy is located just 20 minutes east of Ogden
