SCAD seeks a part-time Professor of Social Media Strategy and Management for its Savannah location to instruct and inspire the next generation of artists and designers.
In this position, you will teach all aspects of social media strategy and management, planning, and creating compelling campaigns, including brand storytelling, digital strategy, marketing strategy, analytics, audience engagement, and more.
The ideal candidate is proficient in social media strategy and the technical aspects of social media optimization, digital content ecosystems, in-depth social reporting and insights from monitoring tools, content creation, and distribution for the digital space. The candidate should have experience strategically creating, analyzing, and tracking digital content. Knowledge in advertising, branding, marketing, and writing content for multi-platforms and new media is preferred.
The candidate should have experience working for ad agencies or in-house marketing groups, as well as experience working on both the creative and account side including strategy, concept development, execution, planning, research, and brand management. The candidate should have managed social media strategy initiatives, content, and communication plans for clients in an array of diverse industries. Experience working with creative, strategy, and public relations teams to plan and implement social campaigns is imperative.
