More About the Role:
Reviews over 500 formal analytic products annually and ensures final documentation is written with adequate clarity for the intended audience, arranged logically, grammatically correct, adhere to accepted rules of style, contain the proper security classification caveats and markings, as directed by national/DoD/DA guidance, and is formatted IAW established the Army CI Center’s policies and standards.
Modifies templates developed in Microsoft Word for products that range from two to more than 100 pages in length. Product lines include items such as the Army Annual Threat Assessment, INSCOM Annual Threat Assessment, CI Cyber Notes, Force Protection Analytic Review (FPR), Global Sunni Extremist Threat Summary, Significant Shia Extremist Threat Update, and Army Futures Command CI Digest (ACID).
Works directly with analysts, fellow editors, and web developers to ensure that all analytic products conform to product templates, meet the Army CI Center’s publication standards and business rules, and maintain consistency and readability for diverse audiences.
Prior to the finished research analysis being published, you shall provide editorial support to CI analytic products.
Responsible for independently editing, designing, and managing the contents of the finished multimedia intelligence publications.
Posts publications on the Army’s CI Center websites hosted on the INTELINK and INTELINK-S product servers for the entire IC.
Attend meetings with intelligence agencies to discuss and solve technical issues involving the publication of final intelligence products, dissemination on electronic media, and conforming standards with Department of Defense Intelligence Information Systems (DoDIIS)
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Current and Active TS/SCI and willing to complete a CI polygraph examination.
2 years of experience using desktop publishing, basic graphics techniques, Adobe Acrobat and Photoshop, Hypertext Markup Language (HTML), Extensible Markup Language (XML), and Microsoft Office Suite (Intermediate Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
High School diploma and 20 years’ experience or AA/AS and 16 years’ experience or BA/BS and 14 years of experience or MA/MS and 12 years’ experience.
