This person is expected to have a broad knowledge of IT including; networking, data processing concepts, hardware, and software. This person will make recommendations for IT solutions that improve IT systems and will implement those approved by Sr. management.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES:
Write and maintain internal documentation, such as environment diagrams, installation/configuration documents and release notes
Listen to and discuss problems and needs to troubleshoot and debug environment and infrastructure problems found in the production and non-production environments
Lead in implementing and managing the corporate systems in a racked Windows/Intel environment, including the following: Windows 2003 and 2008, Windows XP and 7, Active Directory, MS Exchange, MS Terminal Services, DNS services, spam filters, intrusion detection systems, antivirus, patch management, VPN/firewalls, and VMWare servers
Configure servers to meet functional specifications
Monitors system performance and implements performance tuning
Monitor and maintain up time tracking and reporting
Install, configure, and maintain network equipment and devices
Data backup management, scheduling and reporting
Partner and communicate with staff to understand specific system requirements
Identify and recommend system data, hardware, or software components required to meet user needs.
Perform ongoing networking, hardware, and software maintenance operations, including installing or upgrading hardware and/or software
Perform security analyses of developed or packaged software components
Provide advice on project costs, design concepts, or design changes
Act as secondary system support to bank employees
Bachelor’s degree in related field and/or at least eight years hands on experience supporting corporate IT systems.
Advanced knowledge of, and experience with, enterprise class IT solutions such as Networking, Backup and Recovery, Data Management, Email, Virtualization, Systems Security, etc.
Knowledge of, and experience with, multiple networking, hardware, and software products from multiple vendors such as Microsoft, IBM, HP, VMWare, Juniper, Symantec, etc.
Ability to design and implement IT solutions to fit business needs.

Bachelor’s degree in related field or at least four years hands on experience supporting corporate IT systems. Current MSCNE would be a plus.
