Business Development Analyst

S ummary:
Provides business planning and research analytic support for MetroHealth System operations by developing and presenting business cases to executive leadership for approval of new programs or processes. Case development includes concept development, financial analysis, pro-forma development, market studies for various clinical and non-clinical departments throughout the entire hospital system. Responsible for projects from design to full scale operations. Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of The MetroHealth System.

Bachelors’ Degree in a related field (i.e. Healthcare, Finance, Business or Marketing). Three years of experience and a proven track record in a healthcare or business environment in at least one of the following areas: Marketing, Sales, Physician/Community Liaison, Provider Relations, Business Development or Healthcare Operations. Highly motivated and results oriented. Strong strategic thinking skills Ability to develop positive relationships with physicians. Excellent oral, written and presentation skills. Excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to plan, direct, implement, and evaluate multiple projects simultaneously. Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Word, etc). Previous experience in a health care environment.

Master’s Degree in a related field (i.e. Healthcare, Business or Marketing). Knowledge of local healthcare market. Knowledge of managed care, healthcare marketing, sales and associated psychology. Previous experience in planning, policy analysis and market research in health care or related setting.Physical Requirements: May sit, stand, stoop, bend, and walk intermittently during the day. May need to sit or stand for extended periods. See in the normal visual range with or without correction. Hear in the normal audio range with or without correction. Finger dexterity to operate office equipment required. May need to lift up to twenty-five (25) pounds on occasion. Ability to communicate in face-to-face, phone, email, and other communications. Ability to see computer monitor and departmental documents.
