The Manager, Revenue Cycle is responsible for coordinating the daily support activities for timely and accurate revenue cycle functionality supporting proper document collection efforts and processing. The Manager has oversight for insuring regulatory guidelines are adhered to and that their area of responsibility are processed in an efficient and compliant manner. Responsible for planning, implementing, and maintaining all functions pertinent to their area of responsibility. The manager will need to interact proactively with other Revenue Cycle Departments to insure a coordinated effort for the betterment of the overall Revenue Cycle. The manager is responsible to work within budgetary provided guidelines for staffing, expenses and etc. The Manager will insure that his / her staff has the proper equipment and training to perform their functions. The Manager will be involved with outside agencies working on behalf of Adena and will insure they comply with our mission statement, core values and ethics in all interactions with our patients. The Manager encounters confidential organization and patient information, and has access to health system funds. The Manager will be the conduit for interactions with other Adena System leadership members to insure a proactive revenue cycle is maintained and improved upon daily.
Education, Certifications, Credentials: Bachelor's Degree in Management, but recognize that experience is an overwhelming factor in this role, so experience can be substituted for a degree.
Experience: Certifications in the field from the ensuing peer organizations is desired or agreed to be achieved within 18 months (AAHAM, NAHAM and / or HFMA), a proper course of study will be discussed and set with each individual by the Director, Revenue Cycle / System Director - Revenue Cycle. 3-5 years recent business office management in a healthcare environment
