Operates professional television production equipment in studio and field production situations. Equipment includes cameras, VTRs, character generator, audio board, microphones, lights and switcher. Assignments are scheduled on a rotational, on-call basis from a pool of production assistants.
Essential Job Functions
Carries, sets up, tears down equipment and sets.
Assists other television employees as assigned.
Duties are performed primarily in conjunction with Mayor and Council meetings, Commission meetings, and regularly scheduled productions, however, they also are performed occasionally for special productions.
Post-secondary course work in television production. Minimum three (3) months experience working with professional video and audio equipment.
