Shari's is seeking a dynamic Director of Marketing to take our organization to the next level. Here is the expectation for this role:

The Director, Marketing Strategy leads the development of commercial marketing strategies to deliver against revenue goals. This individual will be expected to lead and develop a talented team of marketing professionals in overseeing both short and long-term growth opportunities. This role will lead work to identify new consumer opportunities, influence experience development and drive key target audiences to achieve growth goals. Additionally, this individual will need to inform communications strategies and evaluate ongoing business performance.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Continuously identify new growth and brand experience opportunities to deliver long and short-term business goals
  • Drive growth across key priority segments of the business
  • Lead campaign development and implementation across the organization
  • Coordinate efforts between departments and with the restaurants
  • Develop new target audiences to enhance ongoing business performance
  • Manage media planning and content calendar
  • Lead development of a team of marketing professionals, providing coaching to peers and direct reports
  • Provide strategic direction to all creative work
  • Assist with the strategy and planning for promotional materials, sales tactics, and other department activities
  • Provide strategic guidance across key business drivers
  • Provide direction and insight to marketing staff members throughout each project
  • Responsible for tracking marketing results and creating detailed after-action reviews inclusive of comprehensive analysis

Desired Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, MBA strongly preferred
  • Creative, innovative and with a strong attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate effectively and clearly
  • Deep knowledge of media planning
  • Strategic reasoning and critical thinking, analyze a wide range of inputs, identify opportunities and develop strategies
  • Ability to work collaboratively with prior cross-functional leadership experience
  • Excellent presentation skills

Qualifications Education Required:

Bachelors or better in Marketing.

Experience Required:

5-8 years: Related experience in agency, consulting, consumer packaged goods, technology, hospitality or entertainment industries.

Bachelors or better in Marketing.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $143,000.00 to $155,000.00 /year

Experience:

  • Strategic Planning: 5 years (Preferred)
  • Marketing: 8 years (Preferred)
