Position Summary:
The Overnight Manager is the Manager on Duty of all OTG units and responsible for all operations during overnight shift hours, focusing on CIBO markets, stocking audits and cleanliness of food and beverage operation and CIBO markets. This includes directing third party cleaners and other services, ensuring all markets and restaurants are clean and presentable. As an Overnight Manager, your responsibilities include adherence to all concepts, policies and procedures, inventory and responsibility for leading multiple teams at the same time.

  • Ensures responsibility for nightly closings and daily openings as scheduled, as well as completes accurate closing/opening reports
  • Adheres to all OTG Operating Procedures and ensure that they are followed by crewmembers
  • Communicates regularly and effectively to crew at pre-shift/post-shift, crew meetings and on a one on one basis
  • Ensures that all duties and assignments are performed and completed in a timely manner
  • As the manager on duty for the operation, this position will deal with complaints, must display problem-solving, handle disturbances, special requests and any other issues that may arise
  • Ensures that end of night stocking of CIBO markets is completed correctly to planogram and closing side work
  • Assist closing team with closing of restaurants and CIBO markets
  • Assist opening team with opening of restaurants and CIBO markets
  • Direct overnight cleaning service and ensure standards are met
  • Maintains weekly staff schedules, ensuring fair distribution of hours to all staff, using the most cost-effective staffing and adhering to staffing budget
  • Monitors and ensures that all staff members are punctual and in correct attire
  • Addresses staff discipline as required, using OTG company standards and procedures; reports any discipline issues to the Airport Director
  • Ensures all work is carried out in compliance with Health & Safety regulations
  • Ensures all staff members are engaged in their work and problems are dealt with in a humane, consistent, and professional manner

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Food & Beverage and/or Retail Operations
  • Minimum of 2 to 3 years of supervisory experience in retail/concession/restaurants
  • Previous overnight leadership experience preferred, but not required
  • 1-year supervisory experience in similar concept, market or brand is preferred
  • Verbal and written communication skills

  • Demonstrated dependability and leadership; ability to lead by example

  • Ability to be walk 90% of shift
  • Ability to work flexible hours, days, shifts, holidays; business needs vary with weather/traffic
