Position Classification Title
Marketing Coordinator

Job Summary
Under general direction, oversees and administers Destiny registration system; produces and distributes registration reports; proofs/writes/updates content for the website; ensures timely content delivery and quality control of published information; ensures consistency and compliance with style/content guidelines and brand strategies; works with Marketing & Communications, partner programs and SPS/Workforce Center staff to obtain images, copy and any other materials needed to build out pages for the website; applies best practices for building content for the website that will enhance our search engine optimization; produces and develops on-line videos and other interactive tools.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Personal Characteristics
HTML, CSS and Javascript experience as well as the ability to learn a host of other software packages for digital marketing purposes including InDesign, Photoshop, iContact, PowerPoint and Video/Audio Editing Software.
Experience with software implementation including registration system software.
Ability to troubleshoot Destiny registration system as well as interface with Destiny Support for more difficult problems.
Proven experience writing and publishing online content, and repurposing existing offline content for the Web.
Experience with Social Media including FB, Twitter and especially LinkedIn.
Understanding of Web behavior for higher education and/or academic organization audiences desired
Familiarity with SEO standards and practices and proven experience creating search-optimized copy and content
Familiarity with Pay-Per-Click campaigns and proven experience developing keyword and ad copy strategies
Familiarity with Google Analytics and using website metrics to refine and optimize online content to support business objectives
Digital video and other online multimedia production experience
Video production and editing experience
Work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Multitask projects and manage resources efficiently.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree; supplemented with three (3) years of related work experience

Oversees and maintains Destiny registration system including daily/weekly reporting, inputting classes and registrations, troubleshooting and resolving problems, updating HTML, CSS and Javascript and maintaining current website content.
