Business Product Manager, Direct Sales and Service

Business Product Managers within American Century Direct Sales & Service play a key role in helping to drive forward strategic objectives of the business. This role will collaborate with business owners to understand the vision for the business, identify the needs and wants of the client, build and manage a program roadmap, prioritize work to meet the objectives of both the business and its clients, and support and track the delivery of prioritized work.

Take ownership responsibilities for managing the pipeline, roadmap, and vision within an assigned program for Direct Sales and Service (e.g. Digital, Sales, Service, Contact Strategy).
Work with the VP of Client Experience and Execution to develop strategies within the program needed to drive the business forward building and leveraging skills which include:
Process and screen flow design
Process analysis and reengineering
Data collection and analysis
Solution visioning and selection
Implementation strategies and planning
Communication, training, and marketing Planning
Solution performance monitoring
Work with business owner(s) aligned to the assigned program to understand the vision and objectives for the business to develop and maintain:
Both a long-term and near-term roadmap for the program
A prioritized list of work items required to execute the roadmap

Work with associates who deliver services to clients to:
Understand the wants and needs of clients through the lens of the associates
Identify improvement opportunities to deliver an effortless client experience
Identify improvement opportunities to streamline technology and processes to enable the associates who deliver service to clients so that the program can maximize the value provided to its clients
Work with business partners to develop and maintain strong relationships across the organization
Work with Product Owners and Delivery teams to help prioritize work, remove impediments to implementation, and track progress
Participate in Delivery Team demonstrations to ensure solutions are implemented that meet the intent of the vision and strategy
Leverage channels available (surveys, focus groups, call drivers, etc.) to become an expert on the wants and needs of clients within the program that they support
Where warranted, drive execution of smaller initiatives which do not have a dedicated PMO resource, Product Manager, or Scrum Master.
Identify and monitor metrics to understand and respond to the performance of the business in meeting the needs of clients within their program

Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, PPT
Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate and collaborate with multiple internal and external business partners (Business Owners, Marketing, Training, IT, Client Ops)

Experience with Marketing Automation and software such as Journey Builder
Experience with industry related technology including Salesforce and Marketing Cloud
Experience with executing within an Agile environment
Experience in process reengineering efforts leveraging methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma and Business Process Management
Experience designing client contact strategies and journeys
