Position Summary
The primary objective for Senior Sales Executive is to plan, cold call, network, and develop target markets and territories to build new maintenance base. In addition, support current project base to build relationships and develop additional project accounts. This position requires continual communication with customers, great working relationship with our Operations Team and weekly reporting/accountability for activity regarding the developing of new business, goals and plan to attain them.

Essential Duties

Develop territory within region to best optimize and strategically leverage the local market.
Develop plan for weekly/monthly activity to attain cold call goals and selling goals.
Learn and become proficient with the Company selling process.
Sale of Proactive Lighting Maintenance Program and Project Development
Prepare weekly report for PAR meetings with Branch Manager and/or Director of Sales.
Act as primary local customer contact for maintenance and/or project activities; working in conjunction with the Operations Team for customer satisfaction.
Assist with budget letters for key customers on an annual basis.
Coordinating and working with local partners to develop new business.
Attain or exceed monthly/quarterly and annual sales goals along with adaptable plan if goals are not being met.
Ensure all paperwork for maintenance accounts/implementation meetings are set and followed to gain customer satisfaction.
Meticulous detail on follow up with customer’s requests and proactive communication with internal and external customers
Responsible for the timely and cost effective performance of duties.
Promote the highest degree of safety and ethics standards at customer sites.
Contribute to the overall success of the ABM sales teams through support activities, joint selling, cross selling , lead generation, education, technical support, joint sales efforts and overall teamwork as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.

High School Diploma or Equivalent. Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
Minimum ten (10) years of professional sales experience with an emphasis on cold call development, relationship and maintenance sales, required.
Minimum ten (10) years of experience electrical and/or supervisor experience with electrical and/or construction contractor, preferred.
Minimum ten (10) years of experience with electrical project and/or service sales, required.
Minimum ten (10) years of experience writing estimates, quotes and budgets experience, required.
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in Advanced Lighting Maintenance and lamp/ballast technology experience, required.
Minimum five (5) years Lighting Design and Electrical systems experience, required.
Minimum five (5) years Advance lighting controls knowledge and experience, preferred.
Minimum five (5) years of experience working with utility rebate programs on a local, state wide and national level, preferred.
Minimum five (5) years of account management experience working with commercial, banking and retail customers having multiple locations on a local, statewide and national level, required.
Microsoft Office 2007 or 2010 (including SharePoint, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, OneNote, and Word) experience.
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Must have experience/skills at being the customer advocate.
Possess strong time management skills.
Work well under time pressure.
Support customer data, maps, site information.
Problem solving skills.
Understands standard contractual agreements.
