Job Purpose
Serving as a member of the Central Office team in Housing & Residence Life, this position coordinates the business operations, finances, and travel for the department. This position assists with the development of annual housing rental rates, monitors revenue projections, and reports actuals for the nearly $19 million on-campus housing operation. The position is responsible for monitoring a department budget of over $500,000, coordinating purchasing, and assisting departmental staff with budget tracking. The Business Manager serves as the primary departmental contact with university business services and important 3rd Party service providers.
Through this work, the Housing & Residence Life Business Manager works with the team to support the creation of a vibrant campus living and learning community committed to student belonging and success. The Business Manager will contribute to ensuring that housing practices and programs adopt an inclusive approach to best serve an increasingly diverse generation of Gonzaga students.
