KEMET Electronics is currently seeking a Sr. webMethods Developer to be located in our Fort Lauderdale, FL office.
The right candidate will be responsible for end-to-end delivery of an infrastructure solutions that is technically sound, resilient to failure, operationally supportable, and meets the requirements of the business.
Delivery of the infrastructure solution includes a variety of skills including infrastructure architecture, hands-on build-out and configuration of the infrastructure, as well some project management skills ensuring projects are delivered within scope and on-time. A high degree of collaboration with the business and other application teams is required to provide the right level of agility within a defined delivery process.
The candidate must have at least five + years of experience working with Software AG webMethods products, will exhibit strong leadership skills, will be forward thinking, and will be able to work effectively in a diverse, highly talented team, continuously striving for excellence.
Analyze business requirements from end users and recommend appropriate solutions; design and develop solutions based on users requirement specification
Build highly reusable, performant services and applications on webMethods platform that optimize conversion and growth; develops applications by setting expectations and features priorities throughout development life cycle; completing programming using languages and software products; designing and conducting tests
Play a significant role in delivering a solutions to a complex business problems across the technology stack
Will be responsible for planning, design, development and coordinating the efforts for an IT solution
The Sr. Webmethod Developer is responsible for delivering end to end IT design and delivery of Services via modern technology techniques and best practices
Plays a crucial role in creating and maintaining the strategic partnership between business needs and technology delivery
This individual will apply proven communication, analytical and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate and resolve issues, opportunities or problems in order to maximize the benefit of IT and Business investments
To be successful in this hands on visible role the Sr. Webmethod Developer should have a passion for exploring new technologies, understands and can architect and design end-to-end service-oriented architecture (SOA), RESTful APIs, Microservices, web development technology stack, responsive web design, and turns concepts to products using a proven frameworks
This individual should love challenges and can work collaboratively.
Skills and Knowledge Required:
Experience on webMethods product components - Integration Server, Designer, MWS, Trading Networks, Adapters, Terracotta
Experience on webMethods Administration
webMethods software upgrade
EDI, XML, Flatfile, Unix, shell scripting
Hands on experience in SOAP, REST, JSON web services
Software AG API Management Gateway
Knowledge on various protocols like SFTP, SMTP, HTTP/s, FTPs, and File Polling.
Basic Java knowledge
Education and Experience:
Bachelors or master’s degree in technical or science area
5 years’ experience implementing and configuring Software AG webMethods products including my webMethods, Integration Server, Universal Messaging, Command Central, and Deployer
Experience upgrading and patching Software webMethods products using Command Central
Experience performance tuning, supporting, and troubleshooting an enterprise grade webMethods 9.8
Experience installing, patching, supporting, and troubleshooting Universal Messaging servers
Experience with webMethods versions 9.8 or Higher
