TOPS Hospital has served the North Houston community for more than 30 years and recently underwent a major expansion and renovation project that included all new operating room suites as well as updated patient care and public areas.

Position Responsibilities:
Performs correlation studies, linearity checks, and quality control monitors to assure compliance with CLIA and TJC
Analyzes, summarizes test results on each testing process and submits to Lab Manager for review and approval
Performs maintenance on instruments systems to track education/training needs, maintenance of instruments, ordering of reagents and supply inventory, etc.
Performs troubleshooting as needed
Recommends supplies/equipment to enhance program
Required Skills

Requirements:
Two or four year laboratory science related degree
Must be registered with ASCP or equivalent
Experience with Point of Care Testing
Knowledge of governmental and regulating policies/standards
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to provide exceptional customer service to patients, physicians, and staff
Ability to detect color and color changes
Excellent phlebotomy skills
