Content Marketing Associate (Entry Level)

eCity is looking for a Content Marketing Associate to join our growing team. This entry-level position will work in collaboration with our marketing team to tell engaging brand stories for ourselves and our clients.
Applicants should be excellent communicators, comfortable writing across multiple channels (blogs, email, social, etc.) either independently or as part of a team. While we don’t expect you to have years of marketing experience, we would like to see any writing samples you can provide.

Content Marketing Associate Goals:
Build and enhance the reputation of the brand
Execute marketing projects within stated timelines and budgets
Cultivate our target audiences with engaging blog posts, white papers, emails, and social posts

Content Marketing Associate Responsibilities:
Write compelling copy designed to inspire action for a variety of digital marketing campaigns
Conduct market research, analyze competitor data, build user personas, and perform social and digital content audits at the onset of new marketing projects
Research, write, edit, and publish blog posts, eBooks, white papers, and case studies on a regular basis for the agency and clients
Collaborate with the design team to create marketing collateral for social media, email, and other digital channels
Manage and grow the social media presence of the agency and clients by regularly creating content, scheduling posts organically, and monitoring engagement across various channels
Execute organic and paid social media campaigns to meet desired business goals
Consistently produce and send company and client email newsletters
Build out email workflows meant to nurture prospects at different stages in the buyer’s journey
Work closely with the agency’s sales team to generate brand awareness, convert visitors to leads, and nurture prospects through the sales funnel
Continuously measure campaign data and analyze results to optimize future marketing efforts
Monitor and adjust allotted time to remain within project scope and budget

Strong writing skills in a variety of mediums
Firm understanding of digital marketing and social media practices
Ability to build relationships and work with a variety of coworkers across multiple teams
Organized and able to work on a variety of projects at one time in a fast-paced environment
Passionate about Higher Education, Business & Tech, and COOKIES
Photography skills preferred, but not required

Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism, Communication, Marketing, or related field
