Responsibilities of the Staff Accountant III include, but are not limited to:

  • Perform month-end closing procedures, including reviewing all activity to ensure completeness and accuracy.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly financial packages and management reports.
  • Prepare journal entries and ensure transactions are in compliance with GAAP/FASB and corporate policies.
  • Participate in year-end audit, prepare and review schedules, and respond to related inquiries.
  • Prepare/review schedules used in preparation of tax returns, including income, franchise and property.
  • Provide backup support for the Controller.
  • Perform other related accounting/financial duties as requested.

Job Requirements

Qualifications of the Staff Accountant III include, but are not limited to:

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills along with a proactive response to potential issues
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to engage others and work collaboratively with multiple departments
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including intermediate to advanced Excel skills
  • Minimum 3 years of Accounting experience
  • Prior experience with Syteline (by Infor) required

Working Conditions: Office environment

Training/Certifications: CPA required

Shift Time/Overtime: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
