Construction Project Manager Position shall entail full responsibility for construction/ renovation of multi-story residential apartment conversion and historic preservation projects. Reports directly to Senior Project Manager and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Carries out established project schedule
  • Coordinates sub-contractor schedules
  • Establishes sub-contractor manpower requirements to achieve project schedule
  • Directs sub-contractors or APB direct labor regarding daily work priorities
  • Works with Sr. Project Manager to evaluate sub-contractor Change Order Requests
  • Produces a Daily Field Report to be saved to the “jobs” drive
  • Prepares a weekly job progress report that will be distributed to Senior Management and Owner
  • Prepares a Two-Week “Look-Ahead” Schedule on an ongoing basis
  • Works with sub-contractor’s foreman/superintendent to resolve field issues daily
  • Evaluates sub-contractor work product in regards to quality and compliance to plans and specifications
  • Enforces project safety policies
  • Chairs twice-weekly sub-contractor construction meeting
  • Attends weekly or as defined by Sr. Project Manager Construction Update Meeting with Architect & Management
