Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Water Treatment Technician/Installer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and servicing water treatment systems, ensuring that they operate efficiently and comply with industry standards. The technician will work closely with customers to assess their water treatment needs and provide expert solutions to improve water quality for residential, commercial, and industrial clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, service, and repair various types of water treatment equipment, including filtration systems, softeners, and reverse osmosis (RO) systems.
- Conduct water quality tests to analyze water properties and identify potential issues such as hardness, pH imbalances, and contaminants.
- Perform preventative maintenance, including cleaning, calibrating, and replacing parts on water treatment systems.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions or failures, providing timely and effective repairs.
- Follow all safety protocols and comply with local, state, and federal regulations regarding water treatment and environmental safety.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining system functions, maintenance schedules, and troubleshooting procedures to clients.
- Document service and installation records accurately and submit reports to management as needed.
- Maintain an organized and clean work environment.
- Stay up to date on industry trends, technologies, and certifications to ensure high standards of service and compliance.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in water treatment or a related field is preferred.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in water treatment system installation, repair, and maintenance.
- Knowledge of various water treatment systems and technologies, including filtration, softening, and reverse osmosis.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Physical ability to lift heavy equipment, climb ladders, and work in various weather conditions.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Water Quality Association certifications) are a plus.
Preferred Skills and Attributes:
- Experience with both residential and commercial water treatment systems.
- Familiarity with local water regulations and industry best practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $100.00 - $400.00 per day
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Rotating shift
- Weekends as needed
