Vibracoustic has an opening for a Human Resources Site Leader at our molding plant in Carmi, Illinois. This role will provide exceptional support to your customers in areas of human resources including employee development and relations, recruitment, performance management, training, policy and procedure administration, compensation and benefits administration and various special projects. The successful HR Site Leader acts as an employee champion and change agent. The role assess and anticipates HR-related needs. Communicating needs proactively with HR and business management. The HR Site Leader seeks to develop integrated solutions.
Human Resources Site Leader Tasks:
Support the Plant Manager, leadership team and all other employees as your valued customer.
Field inquiries from managers and employees and coordinate follow up actions with Sr. HR Manager, Operations as needed.
Manage and respond to inquiries and special projects, as required, that support human resources and business units.
Interaction with leadership to achieve business goals.
Conduct orientation sessions with new employees regarding HR policies and processes.
Assist Sr. HR Manager, Operations as needed with employee development programs.
Conduct employee relations investigations and recommend actions and follow-up.
Assists and coordinates training for various locations.
Coach, train, and advice managers on HR best practices and changing employment topics/laws.
Assist in new hire process by coordinating pre-employment screening, new hire paperwork processing, and employee orientations and other recruitment duties to include:
Processing requisitions for recruiting.
Recruiting, hiring and on-boarding hourly employees.
Assists in the implementation of human resources policies and procedures and their dissemination.
Prepares reports to track employee relations, hiring, termination metrics and others as needed.
Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs and policies.
Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with the legal department and/or Sr. management as needed/required.
Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, and disciplinary actions).
Works closely with the management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
Provides guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning and succession planning.
Build and maintain valuable relationships with the leadership team and employees.
Understand and live the concept of “finding a way to say yes”.
Responsible for development and follow-up of HR strategy.
Assist Sr. HR Manager, Operations on global, regional and local initiatives.
Work effectively as a team member and assists others on the human resources team.
Develop relationships with local leaders to promote partnerships that both benefit and support the company, its employees and the local community.
Human Resources Site Leader Profile:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management or related area.
Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in Human Resources in a manufacturing environment.
Working knowledge and experience with various HRIS systems and Microsoft Office applications.
Knowledge of state and federal compliance requirements such as EEOC, NLRB, CRC, FMLA, ADA, FLSA, etc.
Human Resources policy design, creation, introduction and communication, and administration.
Excellent skills in counseling for conflict resolution and interpersonal conflict resolution.
Good problem solving skills.
