Full-time analyst position responsible for managing a robust licensing program and performing QA testing and trend analysis services in support of a national online real estate auction provider.
Responsible for managing a comprehensive licensing program for all brokers and auctioneers, including the submission, maintenance and renewal of all company licenses;
Facilitate and maintain company relationships with principal brokers and auctioneers, negotiating contracts, creating standards, and optimizing the company’s network;
Perform testing, quality assurance (QA) and identify compliance risk assessments, on both an in-production and post-closing basis (including reporting, remediation and improvement);
Responsible for coordinating and responding to regulatory and agency inquiries and audits;
Prepare and standardize management reports including metrics, trend analyses and QA testing results;
On-going review of regulatory and industry bulletins and other sources of information for changes in any federal and state broker and auctioneer laws and regulations affecting the company’s auction business;
Promote a risk-aware culture, ensuring efficient and effective risk and compliance management practices by adhering to required standards and processes; and
Other duties as assigned.
College / Associate Degree or equivalent combination of education, experience and licensure;
3 or more years’ experience working for a national real estate brokerage or a multi-state real property auction company in a licensing or quality assurance (QA) related role;
5 to 7 years’ compliance experience in a national real estate brokerage or a multi-state real property auction company; and
General knowledge of the various types of real estate auctions (i.e. CWOT, 1st chance, 2nd chance, etc.).
Essential Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Able to obtain and maintain multiple real estate broker/salesperson licenses in support of the company’s business (i.e. Designated Broker of Record, Principal Broker, etc.);
General knowledge of real estate auctions, including all pre-closing activities such as marketing and negotiating real estate purchase and sale agreements;
Able to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines;
Proficient with standard office production software (e.g. Microsoft Word and Excel);
Proactive, organized, self-motivated and self-disciplined;
Able to articulate clearly and write in an accurate, brief and concise manner;
Able to execute with minimal supervision and deliver high quality outputs/results;
Willing to travel domestically as needed.
Work is performed in climate controlled indoor administrative office setting. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate, depending upon office or meeting location.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate. The employee frequently is required to remain stationary. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move 10 pounds. Vision: Close and distance required with ability to see objects in presence of glare or bright lighting (e.g., computer screen). Speech/Hearing: Frequently interact with management, vendors, coworkers, industry constituents, clients and the public.
